UCP Roda Untuk Kemanusiaan (UCPRUK) is currently seeking an energetic
and experienced Deputy Director. UCPRUK is an Indonesian Yayasan whom
operating in partnership with an international NGO UCP Wheels for
Humanity (UCPWFH). UCPWFH has been providing wheelchairs worldwide for
over 16 years. As part of UCP of Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa
Barbara, UCP Wheels for Humanity is focused on the quality of work
provided internationally and
the development of groundbreaking and
progressive programs.
In 2009 UCPWFH established an Indonesian foundation UCPRUK as an
implementing partner for a USAID funded project. This project's initial
focus was the development of local capacities for large-scale
wheelchair production, the implementation of a local mobility service
network, as well as disability empowerment & advocacy programs.
Currently, UCPRUK is extending current programmatic activities while
continuing to develop new business opportunities and services.
UCPRUK is seeking goal orientated, driven and experienced candidate with
proven management skills and continued desire to grow and learn. The
ability to see the broad needs, provide team leadership, multitask and
creatively implement sustainable solutions are key attributes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee and manage program budgets, activities and deliverables of staff, consultants and partners.
• Support program team in completing identified goals in service, advocacy, empowerment and operations.
• Assist in programmatic and partnership development for existing and future program activities.
• Maintain donor and customer relationships and assist in proposal development.
• Create and monitor oversight for quarterly programmatic and financial reporting.
• Serve as organization representative at conferences and events.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Prefer 5-10 years non-profit work experience in program and staffing management
• Relevant education background with a minimum of a Bachelors Degree preferred
• Excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, work independently, while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Indonesia,
both verbally and in writing with staff, local and foreign experts and
government officials
• Ability to provide leadership when interacting with political, economic, and social issues in Indonesia
• Proficient command of Microsoft Office applications
