CARE Indonesia in Kupang-East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is currently recruiting the following position for its project:
JOB TITLE : CONSULTANT for INCLUSIVE DRR
DEPARTMENT/PROJECT : PROGRAM/AID CONSORTIUM
REPORTS TO : PROGRAM UNIT MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY
The Consultant will be responsible todevelopananalysis tools to ensure
the needsof the vulnerable groups (People with Disabiitiy, Child , and
Gender) be incorporated into planning, design, and budgeting of RAD PRB
at province level and three districs. The Consultant will work closely
with project technical unit (Disability Adviser, School Adviser, and
Gender Adviser) in AID consortium.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
1. Review, analyse and identify the tools which will be built upon
existing and field tested technical manuals and toolkits of AID
consortium partners (HI "Mainstreaming Disability in DRR", Plan "Child
Centered DRR" toolkit, CARE "Climate Change adaptation, gender and
women's empowerment") .
2. Facilitate the workshop af RAD/ Renstra analysis and review at province level and three districts.
3. Develop strategies and approaches to establish the inclusive RAD
PRB by coordination with BPBD, CSOs, DPOs at province level and three
districts.
4. Develop guidelines for preparing the inclusiv RAD PRB at province level and three districts.
5. Develop strategy to advocate the province and district level
government to allocate budget for conductingthe inclusive RAD PRB at
province level and three districts.
6. Conduct capacity building to the BPBD, Dinas PPO, and Dinas
Sosial on inclusive DRR at province level and three districts.
7. Disseminate the outcome of his/her activity to CARE &AID Consortium.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Have a degree on S1 on relevant field.
2. Five years experience in a related position .
3. Experience working and research in DRR and vulnerable group issues.
4. At least three years experience with International NGO and
fouryears in related technical aspect both rural and urban area.
5. Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
6. Ability to work with a team and with minimum supervisionOrganization and Presentation.
7. Report writing (in Bahasa& English).
8. Excellent computer skills, particularly us Microsoft Office Software packages.
9. Willingness to travel and work in remote and sometimes difficult locations.
