AMARTA II is a USAID funded program that aims to improve the competitiveness of the value chains of three high-value commodities: Coffee, Cocoa and Horticultural crops and to increase the access to credit of smallholder farmers in these three sectors. 

The project will work extensively with local government, farmers groups, marketing companies, processors, input suppliers and other stakeholders to increase the income of the whole sector and the proportion of income retained by farmers.

Our project and offices are in Medan, Makassar, Bandung, and our National Office is located in Jakarta.

Chemonics seeks a short-term National Food Safety Specialist for the
USAID-funded Indonesia Marine and Climate Support project in Indonesia. The
project aims to sustainably manage Indonesia’s marine and coastal
ecosystems.

The National Food Safety Specialist will design interventions that will
reduce the risk of *Salmonella* contamination along the supply chain for
fish products. This will enable exporters to comply with international
market requirements such as the USA’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
and the EU’s European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) standards. The National
Food Safety Specialist will contribute to state of the art global
expertise, bringing an understanding of the demands of international
markets and international standards for fish product safety and
facilitating linkages to international supply chains.
