JAKARTA

1.  Project
Officer – ILFAD Program
The ILFAD Program Officer will be
responsible for all aspects of project implementation for the Mercy Corps
Indonesia component of the ILFAD program in the target MFIs, working closely
with the staffs of MICRA and Bank Andara and other potential banks who become
the next partners like bank Andara including project socialization, assessment,
community mobilization and implementation of training/capacity building
activities for target MFI partners.
The Program Officer will also
assist the ILFAD Program Manager in planning, design, monitoring and
evaluation, coordination with other involved staff (communications,
procurement, other program managers), and reporting. 

Qualifications:
* Experience of working in banks, microfinance institutions at least 2 years;
* Experience and/or interest in building relationships with regional business/financial networks, Microfinancance Institutions;
* Demonstrated experience and expertise in business development training;
* Diploma degree in business, management, economics, or finance is preferred;
* Demonstrated ability to analyze Microfinance Institutions, assess needs and training skill is required;
* Must be proficient in report writing, filling, organizational skills, and computer skills (MS Office);
* Flexibility and willingness to work in rapidly changing conditions is necessary;
* Track Record in working with Private Sectors and Micro Enterprises


2.  Senior
Project Officer – INSIST Program

The senior project officer will
work under the supervision of Project Coordinator, and is responsible for the
successful implementation of all project activities in the assigned targeted
area. The Senior project officer will coordinate and oversee the activities of
the project, and will directly participate in conducting participatory field
research, community based mobilization and outreach providing training,
mentoring and coaching to government and community to implement water and
sanitation infrastructure projects and hygiene and nutrition behaviors
promotion, project development and implementation, and monitoring and
evaluation in the Project communities.

The senior project officer is
responsible for both the soft and hardware components of the water and
sanitation infrastructure activities of RW Siaga Plus+ program in targeted
implementation areas for expanding sanitation infrastructure. The Senior
project officer with support with OWOF Program will assist the Project
Coordinator in designing business development strategy in the strengthening of
sludge removal service micro enterprise, to design sanitation demand creation
activities, sanitation social marketing strategy, and responsible to design
business development training material to introduce entrepreneurship skills to
the micro enterprise team and community task force who will supervise the
business unit. 


Qualifications:
* 5-10 years of field-based experience in staff management and project implementation;
* Demonstrated experience and expertise in water, sanitation and/or hygiene promotion, including understanding of international norms and frameworks, prominent actors, best practices;
* Demonstrated experience in capacity building and partnership with both community and government;
* Demonstrate experience managing and or working at micro and small enterprise;
* BA/S or equivalent in social science, management, environmental engineering, international development or similar degree;
* Demonstrated skill in communication, report writing, financial management, monitoring, evaluation, team management and problem solving;
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

This position will be as fixed
term employee for 6 months.


BURU

1. Field Facilitator – REACH Program

Buru Health Program Field
Facilitator is
responsible for the successful implementation of Mercy Corps’ health program in
Buru District – Maluku in the assigned villages.  This includes identify and mobilize local
stakeholders’ supports for the program implementation, facilitate collaborative
strategic planning and implementation with local stakeholders from municipality
down to sub-district levels, ensuring proper technical assistance to build
capacity of local stakeholders to carry out their designated roles in program
implementation, monitor and facilitate improvements in policy implementation,
organization of behavior change campaigns and monitoring and reporting of
program activities.


Qualifications:
·         Minimum 1 year experience in community mobilization
/ empowerment activities; 
·         Local resident of Buru District;
·         Experience in community health projects is an
advantage;
·         Education background in medical or public health is
an advantage;
·         Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel programs is
an advantage.

2. Administrative Assistant – REACH Program

Administration Assistant to be based in Namlea -
Buru will be assisting financial, procurement, and administrative paper works
required to support the program implementation in Buru.
The personnel will occasionally travel between Ambon and Jakarta as requested by the Project Coordinator and/or Program Manager Health and
Nutrition in Jakarta.

Qualifications:
·         2 years of administrative/secretarial experience is
required;
·         The candidate must have strong communication, English
speaking and writing skills;
·         Familiar with facilities and code of conduct in
Maluku Area, specially the Buru District;
·         Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF, and
other computer program and electronic communication are required.
