The *Early Childhood Care and Development* *(ECCD) Technical Specialist*will take the lead in technically managing all Early Childhood Care & Development projects and contributing technical expertise towards acquiring new ECCD resources in order to achieve set strategic directions. Capacity development of National staff will be your key priority.

*With a proven track record in a fast paced, complex and ideally global
organisation, you will have a desire, motivated by your Christian faith, to
help others and model ethics in line with the Christian foundations and
ethos of the organisation. *

*RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: *

Co-Management with Area Managers of ECCD projects to ensure quality
implementation that meets International and WV standards. This includes
budget management to ensure that donor funds are spent appropriately and on
time as well as technical and social aspects of the project.

- Capacity development of local staff in all areas related to the ECCD
sector including technical aspects, and project management.
- Contribute to writing ECCD project proposals to potential donors and
to work with Programmes Manager in the completion of project submissions.
- Spend no less than 45 days in the field every 3 months.

*SKILLS REQUIRED INCLUDE:*

University degree in Early Childhood Care, Early Childhood Education or
related field

- Competence in written English communication
- Good presentation and facilitation skills
- Effective proposal and report writing skills and some knowledge of
grant acquisition procedures
