120 countries.Currently we are looking for Junior Program Officer based in
Jakarta.
*Position: Junior Program Officer*
*Duration: One (1) Month *
*Description: *
The role of the Junior Program Officer is to supervise projects according
to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources
and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or
consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Junior
Project Officer will also monitor the project’s objectives and oversee
quality control throughout its life cycle.
*Responsibilities: *
- In coordination with partner, develop full-scale project plans and
associated communications documents;
- Coordinate and implement assigned projects and programs aimed at
increasing electoral information through mass media and other direct forms
of communication;
- Collect electoral related information from various sources as needed;
- Monitor project scope, goals and deliverables to ensure they are align
with plan;
- Effectively communicate project expectations to partner, team members and
stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion;
- Coordinate the planning, administration and logistics for special events
needed by the project;
- Monitor budget usage on the proposals, and recommend subsequent budget
changes where necessary;
- Assist with the translation of technical documents from Bahasa Indonesia
to English (and vice versa) in standard electoral wording, as required;
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements
documentation, and presentations;
- Report regularly on project activities to the Project Manager and the
Chief of Party;
- Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order
to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements;
- Undertake such as other duties as may be requested/directed from time to
time;
- Travel as required.
*Position Requirements *
- University degree or diploma
- Two (2) years direct work experience in a project management capacity,
including all aspects of process development and execution;
- Strong familiarity with project management software;
- Familiarity with web development project would be an advantage;
- Clear understanding on web development tools such as frameworks and CMS;
- Demonstrated experience in personnel management;
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented,
collaborative environment is essential;
- Strong written and oral communication skills both English and Bahasa
Indonesia .
