Chemonics International, a global international development consulting firm
(www.chemonics.com), seeks qualified Indonesian specialists for a USAID
higher education program in Indonesia. The USAID Higher Education
Leadership and Management project (HELM) is a 5 year program that aims to

improve the academic performance of Indonesian higher education sectors
through analytical support for strategic planning and policy analysis and
design of approaches for effective implementation of key reforms across the
education system.  We are looking for individuals who have a passion for
making a difference in the lives of people around the world who can fill
the following long term positions:



  1. *University and **Business Collaboration Specialist *

-          Responsible for developing and managing relationships between
Indonesian universities and with regional and international universities or
academic bodies. Experience managing partnerships with private sector
entities required.



-          Past experience with partnerships involving education
institutions required. Responsible for providing general support,
coordination, and on-the-ground trouble-shooting for these institutional
partnerships.



-          Proven experience developing and fostering public-private
partnerships *required.*

  1. *University Outreach Specialist *

-          Responsible for developing dissemination linkages between HELM
partner Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and HELM technical teams.



-          Enhance outreach between partners and from partners to other
members of the higher education community by leading HEI knowledge sharing
events.



-          Ensure dissemination of project documents, activities and
learning by producing project success stories, highlights, and reports on
HELM HEI linkages and activities.

*Qualifications for the technical positions listed (1+2) above are:*

(1)  B.A./B.S. in higher education, education, or relevant field required;
Master’s degree preferred

(2)  Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience

(3)  Experience working with international donors or organizations required

(4)  Familiarity with Indonesian higher education systems preferred

(5)  Interest in working with a multi-cultural, international team in a
dynamic and fast-paced environment

(6)  Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa
Indonesia

  1. *Training Assistant*

-          Responsible for assisting annual training events to enable HEIs
opportunities to share knowledge.**



-          Assist training participants, including visa processing,
orientation, tracking, reporting, and follow-on activities.



-          Assist in training event content and logistics, including hiring
trainers, selecting venues, and producing training materials.



-          Provide assistance in management and maintenance of all
individual participant training files.



*Qualifications for the Training Assistant position listed above are:*

(1)  B.A./B.S. in higher education, education, or relevant field required

(2)  3-5 years’ relevant experience

(3)  Experience working with Ministries, international donors or
organizations required

(4)  Experience in planning and implementing large scale events

(5)  Familiarity with Indonesian higher education systems preferred

(5)  Interest in working with a multi-cultural, international team in a
dynamic and fast-paced environment

(6)  Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa
Indonesia
