Clean Energy Project Development Specialist - Bio Energy
Castlerock Consulting, a management consulting firm working in the areas of
energy, infrastructure and IT, is seeking an individual to serve as Clean
Energy Project Development Specialist for the U.S. Agency for International
Development (USAID) Indonesia Clean Energy Development project. The
position is full time, available immediately, and will be for a period
ending September 30, 2014. The position is based in Medan, North Sumatera
with extensive travel in North Sumatra, Aceh, and Riau provinces, and will
work closely with Indonesian and foreign consultants based in the ICED main
office in Jakarta.
The Clean Energy Project Development Specialist shall have the following
minimum set of qualifications:
. A degree in engineering, finance, or business management
. At least 8 years work experience in the Indonesia energy sector,
preferably in biomass and biogas energy, and biofuels
. Direct experience in project development in areas as technical and
financial analysis, negotiating fuel supply and off-take agreements, and
permitting
. Previous experience in working with local government, renewable
energy companies, agribusinesses and industrial enterprises, and PLN
. Strong interpersonal and communications skills with an ability to
work independently interacting with a broad range of interests such as
public sector, private sector and civil society to reach agreement for
bioenergy project implementation.
. Excellent verbally and writing skills in both Bahasa Indonesian
and English
