Programme Officer (English for Education Systems)

The British Council inIndonesia is recruiting for the post of :
English for Education Systems Officer
1 (one) position, Jakarta
Minimum IDR5,360,000 gross monthly salary and excellent benefits, for a fixed period of two years (renewable)

This post will work proactively to assist the English for Education Systems Managers with professional and reliable support to deliver high quality products, services and/or projects outcomes to internal/external
  customer/client/partner/stakeholder to meet British Council’s strategic objectives; and to assist in budget monitoring and will operate financial processes on the British Council’s SAP system.


Key duties of this post include:

1. Provide support for implementation of project management
- Work closely with Programme Managers to develop, implement and maintain projects
- Provide assistance in reporting, analysis, intelligence related to programme scope of work
- To manage logically inter-related input plans, costing, schedules and responsibility matrices
- Be responsible for preparations of trainings, meetings, seminar and other events related to logistics,
  finance and administration
- Assist Programme Managers in budget planning, budget monitoring and procurement
- Be responsible in managing project filings and documentation

2. Monitor and evaluate projects for internal and external customers
- Contribute to the preparation and submission of activity reports
- When necessary, acting as contact point for the related matters with internal and external parties
- Support the team in maintaining and monitoring the projects delivery at site

3. Communications & Relationship Management
- Working together with Programme Managers to manage and develop relationships with
  customers/clients/partners/stakeholders that support the delivery of the programmes

 
The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate:
·   Experience in English and education services.
·   Fluency in spoken and written English and Indonesian.
·   Competence in use of MS Office.
·   Possession of a bachelor degree (S1).
·   Professionalism in outlook, approach to work and appearance.
