National Agriculture Value Chain Advisor (Consultant):

Background
SNV is an international not-for-profit development organization that
works in 36 of the poorest countries around the world covering water and
sanitation, agriculture and energy. In agriculture, SNV works with
smallholder farmers, pastoralists and forest-dependant communities to
provide innovative, market-based solutions to the issues of sustainable
markets, food security and climate change - thus contributing to
equitable economic development and making markets work effectively for
the rural poor.

value chain development and Inclusive Business. The inclusive Business
approach is defined as profitable and sustainable entrepreneurial
initiatives that seek to contribute to poverty reduction by including
lower-income communities within the value chains of companies as
employees, suppliers, consumers or distributors, generating a win-win
situation. SNV has implemented over 130 successful Inclusive Businesses
