Financial Grant Officer for MAMPU Program (REVISED)

The Empowering Indonesian Women for Poverty Reduction or Maju Perempuan Indonesia untuk Penanggulangan Kemiskinan (MAMPU) is funded by the Government
of Australia through the Australian Agency for International Development
(AusAID) and managed by Cowater International Inc. The MAMPU Program purpose is to build broad-based networks and inclusive coalitions led by strengthened women’s and gender-interested organisations, and parliamentarians in order to influence government policies, regulations and services, and in selected private sector arenas, to improve the access of poor women to critical services. MAMPU Program is currently seeking the following position :

Position : Financial Grants Officer


Location : Jakarta, MAMPU Office

Report to : Finance and Grants Manager

Duration : Long Term

Overall responsibilities :

Reporting to the Finance and Grants Manager (FGM), the Financial Grants Officer is reponsible to providing financial, administrative and clerical services to the MAMPU Program. This includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures, CB technical assistant to partners MAMPU program. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that municipal finances are accurate and up to date, that staff are paid in a timely and appropriate manner and that vendors and suppliers are paid within established time limits in accordance with the procedures and guidelines laid out in the MAMPU Program Grants Manual.

Specific responsibilities :

- Receive and review the financial statements and provide feedback partner Grants examination results and coordinate with Finance and Grants Manager and File holder

- Receive Grants financial questions of external and internal MAMPU Program

- Coordinate response to the financial statements with the Financial MAMPU team

- Conduct audits in the field

- Conduct training related to the Final Report of Partners and financial management of the Sub-Partners

- Prepare bank payment for Grant payments

- Updating the financial data in the Grants Management System

- Prepare Partner Agreement and provide any information concerning the Partners Agreement

- Creating delays in the receipt of Final Report notification

- Assist NGOs with final report and updating guidelines Grants Filing financial statements Partners

- Making recapitulation Grants per partner

- Process refund the remaining funds from partners and closing Grants Partners Agreement

- Assist Partners with technical support to finance capacity building and conduct joint monitoring and evaluation

- Review the proposed budget planning for Grant’s Partners

Qualifications :

- University Degree Accounting or Finance

- At least 3-5 years of experience in Financial Grants

- Able to travel to fields

- Able to operate MYOB Accounting System

- Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced,
stressful environment.

- Must be flexible, willing to perform other duties and work
irregular hours.

- Able to communicate fluently and effectively in Indonesian and English.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy,
willingness to listen and respect for colleagues.

- Must be capable of working both individually and as part of a team.


- Must also be able to create a supportive working relationship among
all MAMPU Partners.
