Chemonics seeks an Information Management and Monitoring Specialist for the
USAID-funded Indonesia Marine and Climate Support project in Indonesia. The
project aims to sustainably manage Indonesia’s marine and coastal
ecosystems.
The Information Management and Monitoring Specialist (IMMS) will be
responsible for identifying the information needs of Ministry of Marine
Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF) with reference to its corporate and business
functions; defining institutional roles, responsibilities and activities
that will improve systems for data collection, storage and analysis; and
strengthening the integration of biophysical and program monitoring data
and information into MMAF’s organizational decision-making and policy
development process.
Qualifications:
· At least six years of experience working in information
management and monitoring.
· Experience working with central government ministry preferred.
· Master’s preferred or relevant experience.
· Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and written, to
fulfill the technical and managerial responsibilities proposed.
· Strong English writing and speaking skills required.
