Chemonics International Inc., a leading international consulting firm,
seeks to fill the following long-term, full-time position for a project
funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Higher
Education Leadership and Management (HELM) project. The primary objective
of the HELM project is to provide technical assistance to strengthen the
capacity of Indonesian higher education institutions to perform more
effectively in financial management, general administration and management,
quality assurance, and collaboration with external stakeholders. We are

seeking successful candidates for following position:

*DEPUTY CHIEF OF PARTY*

Responsibilities include:
Provide day-to-day project management oversight and coordination of
technical advisors and short-term technical experts;

Directly supervise the technical team and will work closely with the
cross-cutting team as well as with STTA to ensure that project activities
are of high quality and respond to the needs of USAID and other partners;
Oversee project activities, sub-awards, monitoring and evaluation, and
reporting requirements;
Support the Chief of Party to ensure timely achievement of project
objectives according to the work plan and performance management plan.

Minimum qualifications:
* Master degree in higher education, education policy, education
administration/management. Comparative and international education or
relevant field required
* Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in one or more of the areas
outlined above
* Familiarity with Indonesian higher education systems preferred
* Experience working with international donors or organizations preferred
* Interest in working with a multi-cultural, international team in a
dynamic and fast-paced environment
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa
Indonesia>
