The British Council in Indonesia is recruiting for the post of :
COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Jakarta
IDR 9,240,000 gross monthly salary, negotiable depending on qualifications and experience, plus excellent benefits
The post holder will work closely with Senior Partnership and
Communications Manager to develop, implement and maintain an integrated
Communications and PR strategy that applies to the Council’s Strategic
Business Units. In line with the country plan, she/he will provide
high quality communications and marketing services to internal customers
in the following areas:
-Media & Communications including online and conventional media
-Community management and social networking
-Internal Communications and knowledge management
-Brand management
This position is offered for a fixed period of 1 year initial contract (renewable)
Key duties of this post include:
·Formulating a communications strategy to achieve improved perceptions of UK and the British Council
·Lead and coordinate all publications development for programme and
corporate events, to be uploaded regularly to the
website/blog/e-Newsletter and social media
·To guide and to support programme managers in delivering external
communications for individual programmes and operations. She/he will
co-ordinate all public relations and media activities of the British
Council Indonesia online and offline.
·Craft and disseminate press releases, media advisories and media pitches to secure targeted press coverage.
·Manage knowledge sharing initiatives to ensure best practices are shared
·Managing internal communications and the British Council brand
The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate:
·At least three years Marketing and/or Communications experience
·Strong sense of achievement and customer service orientation
·The ability to work as part of a team
·Technical marketing and entrepreneurial skills
·Strong written and oral communications in Bahasa Indonesia and English (IELTS : overall 6.5)
