Payroll/Contract and HR Officer for MAMPU Program (REVISED)

The Empowering Indonesian Women for Poverty Reduction or Maju Perempuan Indonesia untuk Penanggulangan Kemiskinan (MAMPU) is funded by the Government
of Australia through the Australian Agency for International Development
(AusAID) and managed by Cowater International Inc. The MAMPU Program purpose is to build broad-based networks and inclusive coalitions led by strengthened women’s and gender-interested organisations, and parliamentarians in order to influence government policies, regulations and services, and in selected private sector arenas, to improve the access of poor women to critical services. MAMPU Program is currently seeking the following position :

Position : Payroll / Contract and HR Officer


Location : Jakarta, MAMPU Office

Report to : Operations Manager

Dyration : Long Term

Overall responsibilities :

Reporting to the Operations Manager (OP), the Payroll, Contract and HR Officer is reponsible to provide various form of administrative and logistic assistance to the MAMPU Program and coordinate support services required by MAMPU Technical Advisors. He or she will insure that office systems and logistic support function in an efficient, effective and dependentable fashion and in accordance with the procedures and guidelines laid out in the MAMPU Program Operations Manual.

Specific responsibilities :

* Maintain copies of updates confidential individual records of employees and ensure that copies of all relevant documents related to staff employment are enclosed, such as updated Personal History Forms, Curriculum Vitae Medical forms (claims, receipts), contracts

* Maintain an efficient filling system for each local staff

* Assist in the preparation of Travel Authorization for staff on approved official trips, if necessary

* Maintain employee attendance and leave records and communicate directly with OP for payroll purposes

* Generate and prepare administrative report as required

* Preparing staff attendance, medical reimbursement, leaves report, and preparing payroll calculation

* Coordinate with if there is personnel requisition for local staff and other HR duties

* Submit Leave Report, Medical report & Monthly report to OP on a monthly basis 


* Implementation of recruitment processes including drafting job description, provision of input to job classification process, vacancy announcement, screening of candidates, organization of interview panels

* Evaluating staffs performance, providing training capacity development for staffs, giving recommendation and appreciation due to staffs performance

* Ensuring the implementation of Indonesian labor laws and organization policies

* Perform such other duties as may be assigned. 


Qualifications :

- University in Social Sciences or HR Education Degree of relevant training and field experience

- At least 3-5 years of experience in equivalent position. 



- Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced,
stressful environment.

- Must be flexible, willing to perform other duties and work
irregular hours.

- Able to communicate fluently and effectively in Indonesian and English.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy,
willingness to listen and respect for colleagues.

- Must be capable of working both individually and as part of a team.


- Must also be able to create a supportive working relationship among
all MAMPU Partners.
