Lowongan Kerja LSM/NGO: Save the Children vacancy: IKEA program - 3 posts based in Bandung - Case Manager, M&E, FAO (advert 2)

Save the Children is a leading, private child-focused non-governmental alliance of 29 member organizations that works in 120 countries throughout the world. Save the Children has worked in Indonesia since 1976 to promote health and nutrition, education, child protection, livelihoods, and emergency preparedness and response. Save the Children has grown enormously in the country and today we operate in 13 provinces across Indonesia. Our program in Indonesia has made significant progress at the national policy level and in the Bandung, West Java metropolitan area in facilitating family-based care for neglected and vulnerable children.


The ‘Facilitating Family-based Care for Indonesian Children with Disabilities’ IKEA project will mobilize communities, government stakeholders, and others to assist Indonesian children with disabilities attaining their right ‘to enjoy a full and decent life, in conditions which ensure dignity, promote self-reliance and facilitate the child’s active participation in the community’. Save the Children will accomplish this by increasing the capacity of families to care for their Children With Disabilities (CWD); supporting community-based rehabilitation services; improving access to high quality education; and promoting awareness of CWD issues and reducing stigma. Currently Save the Children has an immediate need for experienced staffs to be part of our IKEA program team and will be based in Bandung.

The position we are looking for are:


1. Case Manager (code: CM) – 1 post, based in Bandung

The post holder is responsible to provides technical assistance in developing case management protocols and builds the capacity of the Program Officers and kaders to manage cases and collaborate with MOSA.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead the overall case management process for all targeted CWD that need of care and protection, including lead the social workers case management team in working with children, families and organizations partner.

2. Establish a good administrations and documentations system of case management’s works.

3. Develop a supervision system to ensure case management team has access to technical advice and resources in conducting case management process, included monitor the case progress and the ways of cases handling by case workers.

4. Provide day-to-day line supervision with the IKEA SPM in particular to improve the case management process and results.

5. To consult to the IKEA SPM and FBC SPM for the problem solving of complicated and difficult cases.

6. In coordination with IKEA SPM, to initiate, develop and maintain effective partnership with all stakeholders organization that involve in case management, to support case management works.

7. In collaboration with IKEA SPM, ensure that the child safeguarding policy is understood and implemented by each member of case management team.

8. To support the consultant that will lead the documentation process of good practices and lesson learn from case managements works.

9. To provide inputs to IKEA SPM if any actions need to be made, or any adjustment needs to accommodate, in order to improve case management works.

10. Develop and ensure work plan of case management is prepared and implemented as accordance with strategic plan of the IKEA project.

11. Provide day-to-day line management with IKEA SPM, in particular to produce a database analysis and report regarding case managements works.

12. Maintain regular communication with other project staff to ensure coordination and access to technical assistance, include ensuring their inputs incorporated into work plan and activities implementation.

13. Conduct regular, high quality monitoring and evaluation of the program in terms of progress against activities, indicators and outcomes.

14. Produce high quality progress reports for both internal (project based) and external audiences.

15. To prepare cash projection under case management to submitted and approved by IKEA SPM.

16. To support IKEA SPM regarding budget monitoring for Case management works.

17. To provide inputs to IKEA SPM regarding evaluation and performance appraisal of case management team.

18. To provide inputs to IEKA SPM regarding selecting case management team, preparing contracts and job descriptions.

19. In collaboration with Admin and Finance staff, to ensure all administration and financial aspects from case managements are accordance to the organization procedure and guidelines.

Specific Requirements:

· Minimum S2 in Social Work/Social welfare or relevant study.

· Minimum 5 years in interventions with children and families. Working with disability children preferably.

· Proven knowledge and experience in clinical social work and case management and expertise in working with children, especially children with disability.

· Broad technical experience in child protection with proven experience in case management

· Proven ability in programming within set time frames and with demonstrated impact


2. Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (code: M&E) – 1 post, based in Bandung

The post holder is responsible to ensures proper design and implementation of the monitoring system including disseminating results to stakeholders, and involving children and community members

Job Responsibilities:
1. Under the lead of IKEA SPM and consultation with M&E Specialist develop design, methodology, procedures and tools of ME IKEA Project with refer to CP ME system.
2. Plan, manage and report of all activities on monitoring and evaluation based on day-by-day operational activities.
3. Document all relevant data and information both quantitative and qualitative regarding the project activities.
4. Work with project staff and partners in the implementation of ME plan and support them in process of data collection.
5. Update periodically data of the process and result of the projects including that achieved by partners.
6. Conduct analysis data and information as well as formulate conclusion of project under consultation with IKEA SPM and M&E Specialist.
7. Provide all project staff with data and information they request.
8. Support IKEA SPM and M&E Specialist for dissemination ME results to donor and stakeholders.

Specific Requirements:

· Minimum S1 in all relevant study that related to monitoring and evaluation.

· Minimum 3 years working experience in the monitoring and evaluation and also in child protection.

· Proven research skills especially in monitoring and evaluation.

· Proven experience in research and monitoring and evaluation.

· Excellent in social and in interpersonal skills.

· Proven ability to work effectively within set time frames and with demonstrated impact.


3. Finance & Admin Officer (code: FAO) – 1 post, based in Bandung

The post holder is responsible to ensures proper financial management including financial planning, cash management, budget implementation, and financial reporting and ensure proper project administrative management including purchases, logistics, HR documentation, and inventory.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Under the lead of IKEA SPM, plan and manage finance and other administration affairs based on day-by-ay operational activities.
2. To document all activities related to finance and admin affairs.
3. Responsible and handle for activities related to the process of finance and admin activities and working with all project staff and partners.
4. To report regularly his/her job on finance and admin affairs and to the IKEA SPM.
5. Provide day-to-day line management with IKEA SPM.
6. Conduct regular and high quality monitoring of the finance and administration affairs in terms of progress against activities, indicators and outcomes.

Special Requirements:

· Minimum S1 in finance/admin subject or relevant study

· Work Experience ( in years ) Minimum 2 years in the finance and admin working experience

· Proven finance and administration and record keeping ability.

· Proven experience in finance and administration.

· Excellent ability to use initiative and flexibility to support technical assistance.
