Chemonics International Inc. seeks short-term Administrative Assistants for
the USAID funded Indonesia Marine and Climate Support (IMACS) project.* *This
project aims to support the Government of Indonesia in improving the
sustained management of marine ecosystems by providing technical support
for key marine activities with the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries
(MMAF), local communities, and the private sector.




*Specific requirements*

The short-term administrative assistants will have the primary
responsibility of assisting with all project administrative and grants
tasks and functions. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited
to, the following:

§  Provide administrative support to the Grants Manager to complete grants
documentation.

§  Follow-up with potential project grantees to fill out required grant
documents.

§  Provide minor translation as requested by IMACS staff

§  Fulfill office management duties including, answering phones,
photocopying, faxing, etc

§  Label and maintain all administrative files and all other non-accounting
related documentation

§  Prepare reports of meetings convened or attended by project management

§  Fulfill other administrative functions as required
Reporting

The short-term Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Grants
Manager. He/She will prepare regular oral and written progress reports that
demonstrate the status of project activities toward expected results, as
well as other reports as required.
Qualifications

·        At least 3-5 years of administrative management or grants related
experience, preferably with large-scale international projects

·        Successful experience working in a diverse, fast-paced environment

·        Excellent computer and typing skills including Microsoft Word,
Excel, Outlook exchange email system, and desktop publishing software such
as Adobe, Photoshop, and other similar programs.

·        Versed in office administration duties including faxing,
photocopying, answering phones, arranging meetings

·        Bachelor degree or 5 years administrative experience required

·        Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesian required
